酒庄名称 Rochet 来自法文 Roches 石头之意，呼应所在的村庄Saint-Estephe典型的砾石地形，酒庄本身坐落一块碎石台地之上，俯瞰同村二级酒庄 Cos d’Estournel 和临村Pauillac 的 Chateau Lafite，吉隆河近在咫尺，地理条件优越。
以庄园为中心，四周环绕着 45 公顷的葡萄园，园内区分成 40个小区，遍布石灰岩、砾石和黏土组成的土壤。葡萄园内种植著57%赤霞珠（CabernetSauvignon），37%梅洛（Merlot）、4% 小维多（Petit Verdot）以及2% 品丽珠（Cabernet Franc），平均树龄约40岁。
Lafon-Rochet 最具代表性的特征是扑鼻而来浓郁复杂的黑色浆果香气，圆润滋味表现出 Saint-Estephe 的独特个性，单宁圆滑，质地均衡优雅，引领而出温润优雅的风格。
在葡萄酒的酿造方面，酒庄使用控温的不锈钢罐发酵酒液，不同地块所产的酿酒葡萄将分开发酵。随后，用以酿制正牌酒的酒液会转入新桶比例为50%的法国橡木桶中熟成，熟成时间为14-18个月不等。
Chateau Lafon Rochet （拉科鲁锡酒庄）的正牌酒为Chateau Lafon-Rochet,其所选用的酿酒葡萄采摘自树龄较大的葡萄藤，这使得酒款展现出浓郁饱满的口感，经得起时间的考验。诞生于圣埃斯泰夫这片神奇的土地，这款酒传递出当地的风土色彩，口感紧致集中，散发着黑莓、李子和泥土等气息，余味清新美妙。
Chateau Lafon Rochet （拉科鲁锡酒庄）也出品副牌酒，即Les Pelerins de Lafon-Rochet, 。该酒款在已使用过一年的橡木桶中熟成16-17个月，果味浓郁，口感直接强劲，既适合早饮，又有不错的陈年潜力。

Château Lafon-Rochet is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of ten Quatrièmes Crus (Fourth Growths) in the historic Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. The Chateau has 111 acres (45 ha) planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
