Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄）的历史最早可追溯到17世纪，其名字来自于两位老庄园主的姓氏：一位是在1697年购买了该酒庄的Simon Malescot，他是隶属于波尔多议会的国王顾问，而另一位则是在1827年至1853年管理该酒庄的Count Jean-Boptiste Saint-Exupery。前者用自己的名字来命名酒庄，并在长达1个世纪的时间内一直精心管理著酒庄，扩大其面积，维护其完整和统一，而后者则将其改名为Chateau Malescot Saint-Exupery，简称Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄），并对其进行了修缮。 Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄）的命运颇为坎坷，频繁易主并经历了根瘤蚜、霉菌病虫、经济危机和战争破坏等灾难。虽然酒庄在获得评级后得到了更精心的管理，并引进了新的设备，但是最终仍没能逃过20世纪初经济危机的影响，1900年后再次经历了多次易主。1955年，Paul Zuger接管Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄）后，带着对波尔多葡萄酒酿造业的热爱逐步重建该酒庄，出产了符合列级酒庄标准的特色佳酿。同时，他还收购了Chateau Marquis d'Alesme Becker酒庄。如今，Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄）的新庄主是Jean-Luc Zuger，在他的管理下，酒庄葡萄酒的品质受到一致的认可。
Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄）的葡萄园坐落在玛歌区两片以砾石为主的区域，由五块分散的地块组成，其中两块葡萄园直接位于Chateau Margaux正北和正西方，总面积为28公顷。周围表层以2-10米厚的砾石层为主，沿着缓缓的斜坡一直延伸到吉伦特河（Gironde）河口，而底层土壤则为在第三纪形成的泥灰岩和泥灰质的粘土。部分地方为铁质层，或者说是“砂岩层”。园内葡萄藤的平均树龄为35年，部分老藤年龄超过50年，种植密度为10,000株/公顷，平均单产在5,000-6,000升/公顷左右。目前，葡萄品种的比例主要为赤霞珠（Cabernet Sauvignon）约50%，梅洛（Merlot）35%，品丽珠（Carbernet Franc）10%和味而多（Petit Verdot）5%。

酒庄聘请著名的“飞行酿酒师”米歇尔·罗兰（Michel Rolland）担任酿酒顾问。Chateau Malescot St-Exupery（马利哥酒庄）葡萄酒会在控温大桶内进行酒精发酵，不添加额外的酵母及其他添加剂。然后在陈酿时，其正牌酒会在全新橡木桶中陈酿14-16个月，而副牌酒的陈酿时间也相同，但其新橡木桶使用比例只有50%左右。马利哥葡萄酒带有浓郁的红色浆果和泥土气息，以诱人的树莓和紫罗兰芳香著称，质地丝滑，酒体浓郁平衡，精致优雅，单宁圆润集中，表现力佳，香料以及黑醋栗的风味中伴随着平衡愉悦的酸度。某些较好的年份如2000等曾获得罗伯特·帕克（Robert Parker）92分的高评分。

La Dame de Malescot is the second wine of the illustrious Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry in Margaux. The Zuger family purchased Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry in 1955, and is today run single-handedly by Jean-Luc Zuger who also makes the wine. The property is a sought-after producer of rich, pure, and aromatic Margaux wines. As the second wine of the estate, La Dame de Malescot offers a great opportunity to sample the impressive style of Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry.
