四玫瑰（Four Roses）是个浪漫的名字，这背后也有个非常美丽的爱情故事：酒厂创始人保罗•琼斯（Paul Jones）还是个穷小子时爱上了一个美丽的南方姑娘，而这位姑娘以胸口佩戴 4 朵玫瑰的方式答应了琼斯的求婚。后来琼斯在1888年创立威士忌酒厂时，便以四玫瑰命名。
四玫瑰曾是美国威士忌的领导品牌。在 20 世纪 40 年之后，几经转手，它走过品牌衰落期，直到 2000 年左右日本日本麒麟啤酒公司（Kirin Brewing Company）将其收购，它才又回到了美国最畅销的波本威士忌之列。
小批量原桶波本（Small BatchBarrel Strength Bourbon）是四玫瑰的系列产品之一，装瓶时酒精度为 45% ABV，口感比较甜美。
